

Go to the AppleStore and add the gifcard to your account while physically there, using their wifi. Theirs must be "allowed" because they assume you were there, to give your full info, and even if you paid cash and lied about all your info (I never did, but I bet they ask you for an ID), they'd get your face in all the security cameras, and but at home (and using proxies as I do) it WONT allow it.

The difference with the time I did it from home must be the wifi. When I tried it at home I DID try it twice, (I like to be sure so when I write here I can do it with authority feeling 🙂 ) I re-submited the same thing, under the risk of being called crazy by trying the same thing expecting a different result, and THE "NONE" BUTTON APPEARED. The first time I entered the giftcard: it said "A credit card is required blah blah blah, NO "none" button. When I went to the apple Store to return the gifcard or get it credited to the "unverified" account, I went through the process to let it ready for the "Account Setup" guy:
